The average life of this drill is 22-29 holes. When used

properly it can drill more than 50 holes. In other cases,

from the same master carton, it has drilled only 5-10

holes . Unfortunately due to the varying skills of drill operators, the life of this product cannot be guaranteed

and the manufacturer will not accept returns.

Helpful hints for beginners:

Assuming you are drilling a vase: Normally you would

place the base on the stand and lower the drill to the

vase. However, sometimes the hole can be hard to start

on the surface of the vase. For this reason we suggest

the following: Start the drill: Take the vase in both hands and raise it to the diamond drill. Using a light pressure, hold this position until you have scratched the surface. After this is done you may lower the vase and continue to drill as you normally would using plenty of water.

(Note: This procedure requires practice and skill. You

should experiment on glass that has no value).
